Pedal just far enough to feel mildly accomplished, then immediately stop to discover a new café, check out a cozy restaurant, wander through a park, visit an exhibition, or ponder a sculpture we don’t understand. Every ride has a primary mission – a delicious detour or a cultural pitstop. Then we hop back on our bikes, feeling cultured, well-fed, and pleasantly unproductive, and roll back to where we started – ideally before anyone’s thighs start complaining. It’s fitness with frequent intermissions.
